What is “ONE-WORD-A-DAY” ?

Perfect your English in just a few minutes,
every day!

Paul Smith‘s One-Word-A-Day (OWAD) is a FREE e.mail service which systematically raises the level your English.

Standard English is absolutely necessary, but beyond that you may want to give your English a special boost with advanced vocabulary from the international press.

Often, a few quality words will add precision, and make a more favourable impression on business partners and friends.

For example:

"flawless" is more impact than "perfect",
"
sophisticated" sounds better than "clever", and
"
donkey’s years" is more fun than "a very long time"...

Such language is very common in the US and UK.

Use OWAD a few minutes every day, and your English will progress from "
good" to "outstanding".
